What went through your mind when the labor was over?

With my first I was happy to have my daughter and finally meet her but terribly disappointed about the medical interventions. With the rest, just relief labor was over and I was holding my baby.

That must have been rough. I always hated when they took my babies under the guise of "tests" and then hold my baby there in the nursery even after I requested he or she be brought back telling me I need to rest - I don't rest well in the hospital and I waited nine months for my baby...just give me my baby...is basically what I said.

As soon as I was done pushing the doctor laid my daughter on my chest, I was relived and happy to finally see my baby.

I don't remember with Adrianna. Andrew we were worried because he wasn't breathing right (swallowed amniotic fluid). Eva I just wanted to hold her and nurse her. Grace was the same. Hold her, feed her and how soon I could get the heck out of the hospital

Yep, I was always eager to get home too. To my home, my family, my own bathroom, shower and bed!
