Today

Grace has some fluid in her ear, probably from allergies. I'm starting garlic oil tonight (garlic and olive oil, bring to boiling, let cool down. Drop in ear, put cotton ball to keep in ear for at least 20 minutes, both have antibiotic properties) just to be on the safe side. I'm also cutting back on my dairy intake to help.
Took the kids to the 4H fair and then Andrew threw a fit all the way home because there were no giraffes. :/ Only mine.....

Just a few drops. i always make about two tablespoons at a time, if they are better before it's gone (usually are) we use the rest on pizza

Olive oil, a garlic clove (cut, smashed doesn't matter) or two, heat to boiling. Cool off for medicinal or leave hot to eat on breadsticks or whatever. I've seen it clear up ear infections in 5 hours.

I've never heard of the garlic oil trick! I might have to try that... Oh dear, about the giraffes. Were they afraid of the pigs this year?

No they were not! We got to the cows and Andrew says 'Mom, that's a really big cow' (country kid beside us just smiles)...Eva chimes in 'mom! That cow has a big butt'..I've never heard a kid laugh so hard. he kept apologizing and I told him it was just fine, i was having a hard time not laughing too.

Carrot juice? To drink I assume? Haven't heard of that before? Most of my friends are more natural than I am, so they don't know how I can stand to have the aspirin in my cupboard still. :)

This is a new remedy. Thanks for sharing and I hope Grace's ear feels better soon!
