How do you stay HEALTHY & FIT?
This is something I struggle with. Not so much the food thing, though I do love my sweets, but the exercise. The paper routes and sleep interruption just seem to drain me but I want to get back to exercising, have for a while but find I just don't have the gumption or motivation to. In my 20's and 30's this wasn't an issue and I was still walking etc. I haven't even been gardening as much as I intended to this year.
A lot of my work is stationary. My online work, I am sitting down. My paper routes, I am sitting down. My midwifery studies, I am sitting down, unless we get up to take a pulse, check a tummy etc. but that's not much movement.
I'd also like to work out with someone, if I walk that is. I was also wondering if taking my 3, 5 or 8 lb hand weights walking and swinging my arms would be beneficial?
So how do you stay healthy and fit as a mom?
