TTC game: Fact of fiction!

Okay, let's have some fun!

I'll post a statement, and you have to say if it's fact or fiction, then post one of your own. Just answer the one above you. :)

Fact of fiction: All women ovulate 14 days before their period.

    Fact!

Nausea is only in the morning?

Believe it or not, all women don't ovulate exactly 14 days before their periods. Ovulation can vary widely.

For yours... FICTION! As I'm sure you're probably finding out right about now... Have you had morning (or noon or night, lol) sickness, Irene?

My morning sickness is all day and night this pregnancy :(

    Fact... sort of.
You can only get pregnant naturally if you do ovulate, but sperm can live for several days... so even if you weren't ovulating when you had sex, you can still get pregnant.

All women who are trying to conceive or may get pregnant should take folic acid?

    Total fact!

Having sex twice a day while ovulating is guaranteed to get you pregnant quickly.

Definitely fiction! Too many other factors like pH, mucus consistency, hubby might have problems, etc.

Whoop, forgot to add one. Orange juice is a good source of folic acid if you don't have any pills?

I'm going to guess fiction, i feel like you would have to consume a LOT of orange juice to get the recommended dose of folic acid.

If you don't get pregnant in the first two cycles, it's indicative of a fertility problem.?

FICTION! Lots of couples don't get pregnant that quickly... You're not considered to have fertility problems until you've been trying for a year.

I don't know the answer to this one... You can use a regular thermometer instead of a BBT thermometer to track your basal body temperature?
