I had an unmedicated with the youngest and wish I had known about things like this before.
A lot of ladies have lots of luck with counter pressure on the lower back... The nurses tried and apparently I growled like a bear, I don't remember that so I must have been focuse.

I don't remember growling..I remember telling them stop, but I don't remember the growl lol.
Yes, that's true. With Andrew he tried to come out sideways, and I distinctly remembering the nurse telling me she could help more if I hadn't had an epidural. I have major scarring in my spine from my first epidural so the anesthesiologist was really glad to hear I was going all natural lol.

When I got the epidural with Andrew, the anesthesiologist freaked out.. I knew I had a huge outer scar (it looks like a scar from the old small pox vaccines).. But it goes deep.. They had a hard time getting the needle in the right spot withAndrew and Eva.

Thanks, Tabitha! I really hope I'll be able to do an unmedicated birth... Fingers crossed for a home birth... I still have some reservations.
