Which is Worse?

Which is worse, preteens or teen years?
Please tell me it gets better or at least fib to me a little.
There are times I think I am about to lose my mind.
Hahaha...oh dear.

That's exactly what happened here. I wonder where my sweet little princess went. She traded in her halo for horns. Demonic Diva describes Jaina perfectly. The slamming and barricading doors is one of my "favorites." And I wonder where this sassy mouth, and "You can't tell me what to do" came from. And she is rude, disrespectful, demanding, bossy, and ungrateful. She used to be so sweet and polite.
I want to lock myself in a closet, sometimes. Lol... I am hoping the teen years are better. If not, I will try to hold on until she reaches adulthood.

Oh, lord, it is the same here. Jaina is my step-daughter and here she has structure, chores, rules, gets disciplined, doesn't get her way every time, isn't spoiled, etc. She is allowed to run amok at other places so we are fighting the same battle as you. It is not fun and can be very stressful.

Yes, and one word sets Jaina off. Or if you tell her to put her toys away or she can't have something in the store. It's endless.

Fingers crossed it's the preteens for you! Maybe things will start settling down soon.
