When did you officially decide you wanted children?

I know a lot of us dreamed about becoming a mom even as little girls... but when did you officially decided you wanted to have kids.. so that it would be an integral part of your decision-making for the future?

What about when you started trying to conceive and/or not preventing?

I've always wanted FIVE children since I was a little girl... the only thing that changed was my number. I'm fine with only having Ellsie since she may be the only one I have because of my hormones and PCOS issues. My husband never wanted children so he's completely content with just Ellsie as well.

Once I went off my birth control and we started not preventing my period disappeared. It wasn't until after we agreed to see an endocrinologist that my cycle was regulated and we got pregnant six months later.
