Has anyone heard of this one?
I realise that in every day life we should be eating healthy, balanced diets and I do, (with the odd chocolate bar, cheesecake slice or latte stuck in there for pure pleasure)
But apparently according to a lot of midwives, your diet - and getting in at least 30 mins of exercise per day (for you and your man) can make a big impact on your fertility..
A friend of mine who is a midwife actually gave me ideas on how to avoid buying vitamins and get all my nutrition from food - we are on a bit of a tight budget at the moment so spending $80 a month on vitamins isn't possible for us right now.
Do you have any dietary recommendations?
As I said I do eat healthy most of the time, I just really enjoy dark chocolate at the moment lol. I have found so many differing opinions online regarding what to keep and cut in your diet while trying to concieve - some say avoid caffine others say get more... Some say have more whole dairy products where others say avoid dairy at all costs... After a while it just gets so confusing!
So I have gone back to just eating whatever Im in the mood for - and trying a whole bunch of new recipes and ideas. (BTW Mushroom, brown rice risotto with lamb cutlets and garlic beans is YUM!!!)
I was more wondering if anyone had recieved specific dietary advice from a doctor/ midwife/ friends while TTC...
