"The cat ate the frog!"

That is what I heard our children say this evening. They have had it in their bug box and left it in the garage where our mama cat is staying with the new kitten. It should be an interesting evening to say the least.

I don't think so. She eats some bizarre things and bizarre seems to be my word tonight.

Cats, oddly, find amphibians and reptiles delectable. I had a cat that would eat bugs and spiders.

Is it safe to say, "I hope she doesn't croak?" Haha...I know, I know. It was corny.

Well, I've been smelling the vomit smell since Monday so it really doesn't explain the odor, unfortunately.

How recently did she have the kitten? My dog had her puppies a few days ago, and she smells like something died. I think it's from the placenta on her breath. It could be that at your house or may a pet vomited somewhere unreachable?

I thought I smelled burnt hair in my bedroom. My husband was installing a ceiling fan in my daughter's room (across from ours), and I swore I smel led burnt hair or wire. He insisted there wasn't any aroma of the sort. And he is smelling animal poo in our van (and wants me to search. I think not). I do not smell it though.

The cat isn't in the house though. Just the garage. But that would be a logical explanation too, if it were possible.
