baby food

I'm starting my now 5 m/o baby on solids, and not sure where to start. :/ suggestions for a stressed new mommy?

    If you do purees, I would suggest starting with veggies first. Do one a time, giving at least a week in between starting new ones that way if he is allergic to something you will know instead of having to guess.
    I do a mix of purees and real food. Things like avocados, bananas and boiled egg yolk. They are soft and easy for baby to eat on their own.

    I can understand that. I think it's recommended veggies first they are more sour than the fruit is sweet and most people can't stand sour if they do sweet first.

      As Tabithasuggested, start on veggies first. Make sure they are pureed though since she is new to foods. Try one for three days. If no symptoms such as rashes/hives, diarrhea, vomiting, or an upset tummy arises, then proceed with another new food.
      Bananas, avocados, pears, apples, sweet potato, and butternut squash are a few easily digested new foods.
