Our girls have read a lot of animal books so animal science is of huge interest. Our oldest wants to study sciences, more specifically medical science that will help find cures for diseases. Our 10 year old has a kid version of a microscope and he likes to use that to look at different things, not that we've done a lot of it lately. The older girls are looking forward to doing lab work this year in both biology and chemistry. We have some sort of species I had to order that is soaking in formaldehyde...so that should be interesting.

I remember when our girls were younger they found a broken robin's egg that our oldest wanted to look at. I believe she attempted her own version of dissecting a frog or toad too.
