Did your baby go into fetal distress after being induced & in so doing require you to have c-section?

With our first child we had a couple of instances where they got concerned when our baby's heart rate dropped. They were all on stand by for a c-section since I had been induced, my water had broke nearly 24 hours before she was born, she was big, I had two epidurals...but no I did not end up with a c-section, thankfully. Just a lot of medical intervention.

How about you, did your baby go into fetal distress after being induced & in so doing require you to have c-section?

My son did not go into medical distress, but I would not dilate anymore. She checked me again and said my pelvic was not equipped for pushing out an eight pound baby. I was devastated. I want to push. Instead, I was taken in for a c-section.

He was 8 lb 13 oz and 20 inches long. He was rather short compared to most male babies. However, he is above average height now and his weight is normal. My little tot caught up quickly.
