My Bathroom

We saw (and smelled) mold in the bathroom carpet so decided it was time to pull it up. Luckily, the mold didn't go down past the padding and the old linoleum is perfect underneath expect for one corner. Here's my new bathroom floor-the kids are helping pull the foam up.

We found a severe echo... and so have the toddlers. LOL The previous owners did a lot with this house that always leaves us wondering. :)

I know how that is. Upon renovating our kitchen (a service team was doing it) , there were actually three floors in our kitchen, one on top of the other. There was also about 7-8 layers of different linoleum as well. It was crazy! And, our living room had two layers of carpet. Don't even get me started on how much wallpaper and paneling there has been on these walls. Lol

LOL I can see wood floors when I peel back the corners of most of the carpets. I don't mind the walls so much. Dark hardwood accents with white walls. I'm slowly adding details to the walls. We have plans for the kitchen, too.. But a new fridge and dishwasher come first.

It is.. and it kept Andrew and Eva entertained while I took a shower.. They counted to 20 three times by themselves counting the little squares.

LOL considering the rest of the house is covered in shag carpet, I'm sure it is. I would love to keep pulling carpet up throughout the house.

Oh yes. There is. It's just a matter of 1)are they finished and 2) are they still good. And I have to talk hubby into it.

My parents ran into that and had to have gross looking floor for a month while they got the money to replace. I told hubby we will have the money available for new flooring of some sort if it's not good before I try.

I hate it too. Especially since he used to have an old dog that couldn't make it outside before peeing.... apparently shag mimics grass. :/

We dislike it as well. It's more difficult to clean and harbors more pests.

I like the linoleum underneath. I've never seen carpet inside of a bathroom...

That wasn't a first for me, my parent's house had carpet in half the bathroom-tile by toilet and tub. But it smells so much better in there now!
