Looking for new healthy ideas for meals

I have very picky eating habits and will not allow my son to see this/ or not enjoy a variety of foods that I may not eat so introducing new things has been a little difficult for me he is now 12 months and looking for any new meal idea or things your children love! Thanks so much for any input!

I'm not sure what to suggest....veggies and dip? Soup? Homemade soups are really easy to make and get the hang of, if you haven't already done so. Zucchini fries, sweet potato fries, mashed sweet potatoes with cinnamon, mashed pumpkin with cinnamon, each of these things may be served as a side to a meat dish.
Theresa is right... Soups are a great way to incorporate healthy stuff . What about pureeing veggies and adding them to other stuff... like spaghetti sauce? Sometimes I know it's mainly the texture people don't like... my husband is that way. Sometimes changing the way you fix something.. boiling or steaming or baking or frying... changes the consistancy enough to make it tasty
Fortunately for me my son likes just about everything. Some kids like cooked veggies and some prefer raw. With Tristen he started out hating certain veggies but I just keep giving them to him and eventually he will eat them.
I would try what the other ladies suggested and hide them in other things.
When introducing foods, try a few different ways- raw, steamed, baked, fried, pureed, etc. (keeping in mind what textures he is still not ready for- raw carrots, whole grapes, etc.) A popular dish in France for children is shredded carrots with a little olive oil and lemon juice. I like to add a touch of cinnamon. You could always pick a food you want him to try and google recipes with that food...
