Interesting

So we had somebody stop by the house today. He was a Lutheran minister that grew up in the house. Wanted to reminisce. And told me some things that have me curious. Three rooms upstairs have no heating/cooling. He said they put in floor vents to heat from downstairs. So I'm on the search. I know where it is in one room, but the nursery I'm not POSITIVE. We can tell there's uneven floor but that's the one room the carpet is actually installed correctly... I'm going to have to tak to hubby about this. If we can uncover those vents and make them usable before winter sets in, we won't have to buy space heaters!

I hope you can find them. That would be awesome. I know winter gets super cold wherever snow is. I am not looking forward to this winter at all.

We were below 0 for a month last year. The kids slept in the room with us even with a space heater it was hard to keep the house heated.

Yeah, that how it was here last year. We blocked off the living room and just tried to keep the dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, and bathroom warm. We got baseboard heaters this year because all we had were plug in heaters and a propane heater in the dining area. Below zero is not fun. I am so sick of snow.

I don't mind the snow. But the below zero temps are ridiculous. :) I was glad it let up for the most part by the time Grace joined us. My biggest fear was she would come in the deathly cold.

We had one of those sun heaters. They only get hot in one spot and are temp controlled-totally safe for kids. expensive as all get out, but worth it. But it broke. :/ So we have to do something this year. If we have to buy some, I'm getting some that shut off when tipped over or cover up and will put them up off the floor to be safer.

The house used to have a pantry! I want the pantry back! LOL

Yes. And then my daddy popped my bubble and yelled at me for talking to a stranger.
