Close observation :-/

So I had my OB appt with the high risk doctor yesterday... I have a history of cancer of the vagina (rare) and cervix (not so rare) so they are watching me closely for the next 8 weeks. I suppose they are afraid of my cervix giving out. :-/ they want me to have surgery to keep it shut but it doesn't always work they said... And I won't be mostly outta the woods until After 24 weeks, as the cervix usually gives out between 15-24 weeks. I'm nervous because it's my 6th pregnancy and no baby so far... And this time I've really fallen in love as I've never been this far along before :)

Close observation :-/

I believe it's a cerclage they do to keep the cervix closed, I've never heard of it failin but I don't know much about them either. Praying for you and your cute little peanut.

Ok. I know nothing except the name lol. I have known a few people who needed them, but come to think of it, they didn't work because baby still came way early (but is ok now). You gotta do what's best in your situation. You have great support here. :D

Congratulations! Hoping and praying baby stays put until after 24 weeks. Do they have you on bed rest or restrictions?
