Dyslexic? Your brain is brilliant. Maybe.

I was reading this article about people with dyslexia. While they seem to have an almost impossible time with reading and/or writing, they also seem to be incredibly perceptive.

According to the article "When the team asked people to pick out impossible figures from similarly drawn illustrations that did not violate causality, they were surprised to discover that some people were faster at this than others. And most surprising of all, among those who were the fastest were those with dyslexia."

Now, that probably sounds like a bunch of garbledyguk, it did to me at first. But the gist of it is that people with dyslexia see things differently and interpret them differently. While they may have a difficult time with English they will probably excel at things like drawing and geometry.
