Great discovery!

So yesterday I discovered that even though we have health insurance now through my husbands job, I am eligible to receive state medical insurance as a secondary insurance and that they will cover any cost of my pregnancy and delivery that our insurance through my husbands job doesn't cover, so any copays or deductible they will pay. They even work with you if it seems like you make too much money and will try and arrange the numbers so that you will qualify. Apparently all states are now required to do it as well as a way to ensure that women get the prenatal care they need. I don't even have to change doctors! With the chances of me having to have a c-section being very high, and the cost of that being high, this was a great discovery for me. I had no idea it was even a thing, but I figure it wouldn't hurt to ask, I'm very glad I did. I looked it up online to make sure it was true, and it is. Lol

I am very relieved! Plus our insurance through his job covers breast pumps, lanolin, nipple shields, support belts and all kinds of other stuff.
