At what age would you allow your child to get contacts? Would it be more about maturity than age? How young is too young to buy them contacts instead of glasses, in your opinion?
I used to work for an Optometrist.. and honestly, age doesn't matter so much that they are responsible and mature enough to maintain the care, upkeep and health of using contacts! We would have kids as young as 8 and as old as 18 learning brand new :)
That's awesome, I am thinking about having my ten year old try them. He is just not very lucky with glasses it seems, lol! My 16 year old wears contacts and loves them.
Aw.. I bet he will do so great with them!!
I think it's a matter of maturity, not age. I've never worn contacts, but I've heard they require a lot of maintenance.
