Do you watch what you eat?
I really try to eat and prepare healthy food, but it gets harder all the time. Besides the fact that we're all pressed for time, I'm constantly hearing about another ingredient to avoid. I don't have the time to read each and every ingredient label before I stick the item into my grocery cart, and I'm tired of being bombarded with news of new, harmful ingredients. I think companies that make our food should be held responsible for the ingredients they put in our food. Maybe the FDA should create a list of all these harmful ingredients and require companies to advertise on the box whenever they include a harmful ingredient. Specifically, I'm talking about Skinny Cow, which my daughter loves. First of all, there's nothing skinny about it, with all the sugar these products contain. Secondly, the Skinny Cow bar she showed me contained TBHQ. The B stands for butane, which is lighter fluid. In my body? I think not.
