cold cheeks

What would you suggest that a new mom do to safely keep her baby warm at night, but not so warm that sids is an issue?

We kept a thermometer in her room to keep on eye on the temp and checked the back of her neck to make sure she was not too warm.

Thanks. I will check the size of the sleep sacks that I have for him, the fleeces and what kind of thermometer? If its one that I can get at a store or online, that should work. It would also help since I breastfeed.

A basic digital thermometer would work. You should be able to find it online or in stores. The one we used is one the previous owners left at our home that has a sensor outside, so it tells us both indoor and outdoor temps, along with the date and time.
