What are some self-sufficiency skills you want to teach your children?

I think this list is a great start for teaching children self-sufficiency. I would probably add under financials, running a little business because it can develop so many other skills for the job market that young people do not always learn before entering a job.

Can you think of other ideas you would add?

Sounds like a good list.. I would also add basic car-care skills (changing a tire, at least checking the oil). And what you and Debi said.

I wish I would have learned more about finances when I was in school. Like your credit score and how to manage debt or bills. I am trying to teach my children this now.
