Weatherization help...

There's a program here through community action that does things to help preserve heat and electric in houses with a middle to low income. They come in and insulate and put in water heaters and light bulbs and all that jazz for free. It's a really nice program but the guy who did my mil house turned the hot water up after he put the new one in to test it. He forgot to remind us and we've gone months without knowing. Tonight at bath time I turned around to get a towel for Bentley and he turned the hot water on and burned his foot. Thank goodness he's ok.

    OUCH! Poor Bentley. Those things aren't supposed to be set above 120 degrees I thought. We are going to see if we qualify for that program this year.

      I've never heard of this program. Glad it is available and that Bentley is ok.

        That's a really cool program.... Helpful to everyone. Ouch for Bentley though! Glad to hear you guys got it turned back down though.
