Does/ did your kid eat dirt??

And what do you do about it?

When William first did it I was frantic! I called my husband and my mom in panic thinking he was going to be sick. Now though Im kinda not too fussed - he usually gets a small mouthful and says "its yucky" and leaves it alone. I dont even stop him anymore as it does no good - he just does it anyway when Im not looking.

Besides Im taking the "what doesnt kill him will make him stronger" approach. Between my toddler and my man baby (husband) they eat crickets and worms and all kinds of grossness and I have to let my girly side handle that, just dont kiss me until youu have brushed your teeth!

Unfortunately yes... They play "survival" in the garden and my husband has taught him that when you need food there is a bounty available to you if you have the stomach for it! (I dont!!!)

In January my nephew had a "Bear Grylls" themed birthday party and my husband and brother in law took 5 boys out into the woods for the night - taught them how to set up camp, make a fire and what kinds of things you can eat while the moms stayed home and drank home made sangria!

All in all Im really glad that William is learning about all this so young and that he will always have this knowledge Im just grossed out by it BIG TIME

Yeah, but boys can pee a lot easier in the woods.
