Here are some reasons you may experience swelling during pregnancy:
Hot weather causes swelling in the hands, fingers, feet, ankles and toes.
Elevated blood pressure
Accumulated fluids just from being pregnant. See this link for more information: http://www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/symptoms-an…
Standing too long on your feet.
From the pressure put on the uterus causing a reduction in blood flow. See this link for more information: http://www.babycenter.ca/a230/swollen-hands-and-f…
Whatever the cause, it is still recommended you call your doctor and consult with him on the symptoms you are experiencing.
I am so thankful most of my pregnancy (the large part) will be in the WINTER! Not only does the heat get to me in general.. but I just don't deal as great with warm weather.. be it working out, being out and about or just warm rooms. I feel like God knew what he was doing for me and the seasons I will be going through :)
Great tips and heads up though, Theresa :)
