Sleep.... What is it?
I feel like my 2 year old never sleeps. She gets up and down all night long and doesn't take naps during the day. Contemplated giving her melatonin, but afraid she is too young for it.
My toddlers sleep a lot better when I get them really active. This summer it's been walks, but now I'm going to need to find some exercises inside to get energy out.
I try to keep her active as I can, but working two jobs and going to school really hurt my time spent with her during the day. I'm hoping my business will take off so I can completely stay home with her like I did when the boys were little. They never had problems sleeping at her age.
There are a lot of young kids that take melatonin, make sure you talk to her doctor first. I know that when my son is overtired he won't sleep. Even if he doesn't actually sleep he still goes down for his naps. Last night he was up a few times but he didn't really nap yesterday either.
She stopped taking naps at 15 mo. She just has trouble sleeping. I guess she gets it from me bc I hardly sleep. I will go days sometimes before I crash. May be time for a dr to check her out and see what we can do to help her.
