Mothers

Do any of you still "get in trouble" or are lectured by your mothers? I am 32 years old (yikes) and married with kids, yet I still get scolded by my mother--but in a very loving way. My mom and I have a great relationship. I usually call her ever two days or every other day, she prefers this, too. So, when I did not call her in about five days, I get a phone call from her asking, "Where have you been? Why haven't you called?" I explained to her I have a sinus infection and have been lying down a lot, plus things have been a little chaotic here. I know that is no excuse though. I just forgot. I find it humorous and cute that she loves me that much and is concerned for me that much, being I am one of the babies, I suppose that adds to the fact (she has six girls).

So, how many of you mommies have a mom like mine?

Yes, I know that one. The one that makes you feel guilty even if there is nothing to be guilty about. lol

Yes..I get lectured by my entire family lol. They do it out of love but sometimes it becomes exhausting.

My mom and I have always been close, but she has a tendency to over step her bounds. I am 35 and just getting to the point where I can express negative feelings to her. She would try to change the subject or just ignore me. Now I don't let issues linger, I address them as soon as im calm. I know she loves me very much just needs to realize im an adult sometimes.
