Was it the humanitarian thing to do, or was he a big jerk?
A lady goes to her boss and explains that she has a cancer diagnosis. The boss responds by firing her.
Likely highly illegal if she wanted to pursue that, and she would most likely win a wrongful termination suit since he put it in writing that her diagnosis was the reason he was letting her go.
However, the boss (a dentist) stated that is she couldn't perform the duties of her job he may have had to let her go and she wouldn't qualify for unemployment. This way, she absolutely would qualify.
