Can you sleep on your back while being pregnant??
Right now I'm at the stage where I cannot lay on my left side nor my right side too long. It feels like my muscles tense up and they will not relax; but when I lay on my back the tension releases. Can pregnant women lay on their back??
well not that I know of ...u can place a pillow behind u so u can relax and not be completely on ur back ...it helps ur baby breath cuz he can press on a nerve on ur back and it slows down his air
Too many pillows are uncomfortable for me. I feel like they are cutting off circulation, lol I'm weird like that. I feel like I should sleep bending over lol
I used to sleep semi reclined with a bunch of pillows behind me. Laying on my sides hurt my hips soooo much if I did it for too long.
ask ur obgyn for advice
I think usually you are supposed to sleep on your side.
how far along are you? its not a bad idea to lay on your back, because it puts to much pressure on blood vessels. I am 24 weeks and I sleep with a pillow in between my legs and one I put under my stomach when I lay on my side, I find that it helps a lot. otherwise try buying a body pillow and see if that helps you with sleeping on your side.
I'm 30 weeks. When I lay on my sides, they tense up like I slept on them the wrong way; but once I lay on my back the muscles just relax immediately
Have you talked to your doctor about this? Maybe your doctor can give you a better solution. I just know I can't sleep on my without a pillow supporting my stomach it just feels to heavy.
I will be able to talk to her about it this coming week. Hopefully she will tell me I can lol.
I slept on my back and on my left side (most comfortable) when I was pregers. You can never really get truly comfortable but lots of pillows helps. :) Feet up Head up Pillow under knees... LOTS of Pillows
