Having a cyst on my ovuries!

Will the cyst be able to make conception not possible? We are trying to conceive but have had no luck so far. Is it because off the cyst? I heard a lot of woman have a cyst but got pregnant with it.

I think it depends on the type. I know I had a few when I conceived Andrew, but they dissipated on their own. I had an ultrasound every week for the first three months because they were worried about them.

I think your chances might be higher than that, but I've never had a problem with them. This might be a question better suited to your doctor.

I went for a sonar of my whole body from my neck to there hehe. And the doctor saw the cyst. I took the sonar becuase i had cancer and went for a full check up.

                http://www.healthline.com/health/follicular-cyst#…

Read this. It explains a lot about cysts.

I have PCOS so when I was being treated for infertility the doctor would monitor the cysts that I would get. I really only remember having a cyst one time that caused any concern and it went away on its own, so please do not think you are unable to get pregnant. A lot of the time a cyst will dissipate on it's own without any treatment (so don't think you need medication either).

Oh no. It never will. Mine is genetic. My grandmother and my mother both have it. I have all of the other nasty side effects of it... I never know if I have cysts or not. My cycles are so irregular (or non-existent in my case), that I never had them monitored. Only when we decided to see an endo to get pregnant to regulate my cycles. I only had a cyst one month out of the six he treated me for.

I sure did. We tried for four years before I started seeing an endocrinologist who specialized in women with PCOS. Once he was able to regulate my cycle we took a "break" over the holidays and ended up getting pregnant on our own in January. I actually ovulated two weeks later than I should have and he couldn't explain why or how it happened. Pretty much a miracle. Ellsie just turned one on the 16th of this month. :)

I had problems with cysts growing up and was told I may not have kids. Then when I got pregnant with Ember, I had to do several ultrasounds to make sure the cyst for smaller or went away. It hurt a lot, other than getting stick on my hip before delivery she was a healthy baby girl.
