Do you moms have time for yourselves?

To some this may sound impossible. For me it pretty much is, between a full time job an 8 month old (almost 9) baby and being a wife it seems so hard to find time for just me.

So how do you all find time for you? what does your routine involve? do you pamper yourself? maybe a spa day? how much does your husband/partner help you? any tips?

... Sigh, I seriously can't be the only one.

Not a lot usually in the early mornings and late at night is when I have time for myself, in between I'm busy juggling kids around.

I can usually grab half an hour or so in the mornings (hubby is at 3 and i make him breakfast) between the time hubby goes to work and the kids wake up. And nap time if they all sleep at the same time (3-4 days of the week). Other than that, I don't.

During naps and when my husband comes home from work, that's my me time and it doesn't last long but its enough to get me through. Baby wont be little for long so i'm enjoying it because when they're old enough to be in school I don't know what i'll do with all that free time lol. I quit my job to be a stay at home mom and love it but i'm also trying to start up an at home business too.

What I do when I need a mom-ent ha ha just thought of that... ha ha sorry... when my hubby gets home from work I make sure Owen is eating or happy and I sneek off and take a shower... It might only be a 15 min shower but a nice HOT shower helps so much... Other then that its Owen all the time... in fact Owen (8 months) is sleeping next to me right now... Daddy is workng so its just us tonight... but I'm a full time momma and Ow is with me all day everyday I hardly every leave him and if I do its not for very long... But some things you could do is tell your hubby you have a pedi apt and go get your toes done... maybe go to Fantastic Sams if you have one or any nicer salon and ask them for a wash and blow dry/style... then your not there for super long unless you want to be then get a color and cut. Let him know that you need more help that you need him to help with dishes, laundry, changing the Lucas, feeding him, maybe even cleaning... What I do is just say Honey can you please clean up the baby. That incldes the baby his highchair and the floor, and putting Owen's dishes in the sink. I do this at least twice a week... it gives them bonding time. and me some more free time to just relax. Cause after a day of sitting on the floor sometimes I just wnat to sit on the couch... ha ha just talk to him and nicely tell him whats up... If hes not willing to help then do what I did and start using paper plates... It cuts dishes in half only costs about $8 for 130 plates from Target but it works great for us... and is a lot less stressful for me... IDK just some ideas hope they help...
