38 Weeks

38 weeks today and starting yesterday I have been having constant PMS type cramps in my lower pelvic area and low back. This morning, everything connected to my pelvic bone hurts... hips, tailbone, low back, the tendons on the insides of my thighs... I can barely walk. I don't think he dropped, because I don't feel like his head is down there, but maybe it's my body getting ready for him to engage, because holy hannnah, I'm an aching mess today!!

It's so hard the last month or two. Just rest and try and relax in a nice bath. Get a massage. Do things that you find calming. Almost done and your bundle of joy will be in your arms! Here are some natural ways to induce labor.. eat pineapple, nipple stimulation(worked for quite a few), sex, driving down bumpy roads, rasberry leaf tea ect..! hehe Good luck

I was telling my doctor that in some senses I feel like a FTM since my first baby was induced at 41 weeks and never dropped/engaged, etc... she didn't want to come out at all! So this time around, having a baby that's trying to cooperate, I don't know what all of this really means and feels like. I am really hoping for spontaneous labor though. It's just a totally different experience! Probably didn't help that I had to chase my 2 year old through a parking lot as she bolted away from me wildly, moving that fast these days is rough!

Wow, it seems like he will be here any day. I had those pains as well and Braxton Hicks. My son came two weeks later.

I find a hot bubble bath really helps with soreness. Maybe it will help you too?
