do you have only one child? why?
I often face the same question:"Do you have more kids? No? Why?" And I'm trying to explain that having the only child in our family is not my choice, or my husband's policy. I was planning to have at least three kids, three boys if possible, but God has a different plan for us. Mark is 10 years old now, and we lost our second boy 5 years ago( 6 months of gestation). And..I never got pregnant again.
I love children, I wish I can adapt one or two kids, but my husband not quiet ready for it. I can see Mark is struggling not having a brother or a sister, because all of his friends have siblings. And siblings are blessing from above. I hope my dream to have another kid-biological or not, comes true one day. There are so many kids who don't have mom or dad.
My general thought is that the number of kids is often not a choice but God's decision.
