Two Lollipops for Motivation

You'd think it was raining cash here.....but the promise of two organic lollipops has been motivating our children to do things quicker and faster than they ever have before. Just to clarify, the two lollipops are not given out until their school work, chores and extra chores are completed and only two per day. Their bedrooms have never looked better! Our boys have been promised a trip to Legoland in January if they keep their room clean for the entire month of December (I want it to become a habit) so that is motivating them in a HUGE way.

Here's to hoping we get the rest of the house organized too.

Thank you Yummy Earth, you just might be our friend for life!

Yeah, the Tribune had Legoland coupons yesterday and that's what inspired me. :)
I try to bribe my kids with snacks or cartoons. It works sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. My youngest would much rather have some pasta salad or salad. She loves real food.

That and getting to watch a TV show motivates them to finish their work because there's something to look forward to at the end of the so called "drudgery".
