I am beyond stressed

I am a single mom, and money is very tight. Why must diapers and wipes cost so much. My son goes through a lot of diapers, and I just bought a box the end of last month. I have been saving up to buy him the new graco 4 in one car seat but its like all my money is going to diapers and wipes. I don't know what to do

Have you looked into local churches or organizations? They may be able to help you with baby items. I know we have a local group that provides convertible car seats to families who need them.

I know some local food banks have diapers and wipes and also there are diaper banks that can help with that. Just type diaper banks and your location into your web browser and something should come up. I know for us it got so bad that I ended up making our own cloth diapers and that has saved us a ton of money. I made some wipes as well and just used water with them to clean him. It took a little work but it has been worth it for us (and I don't know how to sew). It ended up costing me almost nothing because I used some material that my mom gave me and stuff like receiving blankets and old t-shirts that we had already. They are not pretty but they work.

I'm sorry you are having problems. Look into child safety places like Katie suggested. That's one of the reasons we have always gone with the lower end car seats. They do the same job, but for less. Hugs.
An alternative to already done wipes is paper towels, baby soap and water. You cut the paper towel roll in half, put water (I think 1/2 cup) on it, squirt on baby soap (don't have to, but it's a better smell) then put in an airtight container and let soak in. When it's all absorbed, take the cardboard center out and you should be able to pull up so one comes out right after the other like wipes after a few tries.

We use cloth wipes and it saves a lot of money. Our cloth wipes are just wash cloths.

Exactly, we just use water, nothing but water.
