To many toys!!!

Owen is 9 months (Saturday) He has so many "little" toys and a ton of stuffed animals! OMG'sh He has 2 rubbermaid storage buckets full of toys! I have no easy way to store them all so they are all over the floor stacked against the wall on top of eachother!! He has 3 exor saucers one is a jumper one is a saucer and one he can walk around the center thing and play with all the toys. He has 2 baby swings. one is one of those Momm swings and one is a portable one that stays in our living room cause he likes to sit in there and drink a bottle. I just took apart his exor saucer and made it in to an activity table. but still what one baby need this many toys and he doesn't even play with them all. I am taking a bucket full to my parents house so he has some toys there but that doesn't even put a dent in them... UG!!!! I'm going to go threw them and bring them to the family pathways thrift store I think... but we are going to have more babies maybe I should just pack them away??? IDK what I should do... UG....

Do your kids have to many toys?

What is one or 5 of the things your kids have to many of???

How do you keep your kids from having to many toys?

We had a ton of stuff when we started having children and due to space in a small townhouse (we lived there up until three years ago), I just had to bite the bullet and purge stuff. I think you should make a list of what you want to keep "for sure", "maybe" and "giveaway". If you have more children, it sounds like will have plenty e ven if you gave away all the duplicate stuff.

I went threw them and brought a bucket to my parents house since we are there two days a week. I cleaned out a lot like a whole garbage bag full of stuffed animals... Kept his favorites... got rid of the rest. Now we have only 2 smaller buckets one in the living room and one in the porch and two 12" square cube things downstairs. Toys are spread out and things are looking good around here. Now dun dun dun Christmas is coming and His Birthday is in January... Hopefully no one buys him stuffed animals... LOL
