Good grief!!!

My husband is grumpy this morning and just generally being difficult. Even down to asking me about the stuff I put in the garbage can. I think the long hours he's been working lately are catching up to him, not to mention his commute is over an hour each way poor thing. I hate to be mean but I'm glad he's gone to work now. Lol

LOL I know how you feel. When my hubby gets tired he's the same way, he has a long commute, too.

He has been working 10 hour days and then has the commute on back mountain roads which freak him out. Needless to say, it caught up to him this morning. lol

Oh man! At least my hubby doesn't have dangerous roads. I can imagine.

It doesn't help that we have already hit an elk last year on the road that he has to take. Smashed the front of the car up pretty good.

oh no! Was everybody but the car ok? That's my biggest fear driving at dawn/dusk.

We were. We had Tristen in the car too. It was so scary. My husband hit it perfect and instead of hitting the windshield and doing more damage, the people behind us said that it flew about ten feet up in the air and landed in the ditch on the opposite side of the road.

Oh wow. I can imagine. I've had a few close calls with deer and mountain lions.

Elk are bigger than deer, but about a year and a half ago, my hubby hit a deer and did about 1,000 dollars worth of damage. It still surprises me that they can nearly total or total a car when the vehicles are larger. Those things are like oxen--stout as can be!

I am glad everyone is okay. Mountain roads can be dangerous and wildlife roam wherever they please.

This thing was HUGE! The people behind us were pretty happy about it. They threw it in the back of their truck.

Meat! Yeah.. I've told my hubby if he EVER hits a deer, ask the cop if we can have the carcass. :D

Well the cops won't let you take it. We didn't call them so the people were able to take it. Here in Oregon they just let it sit until the people that clean the roads come to clean it up, or until the other animals eat it. If we had a truck we would have taken it.

Hahahaha!!! Spoken like a true wife. Do not feel mean nor guilty, there are times when I wish my hubby was at work or cannot wait until he does go. My hubby has a 35-40 minute commute, depending on traffic. I think sometimes he forgets I get tired, too, and that just because I don't get paid, doesn't mean I am not working and still have things to do even after he gets home. My hubby works anywhere from 8-10 hrs a day, 5-7 days a week. However, when I tell him we can switch, he declines. I think these kids would eat him alive. Lol

LOL It's like they know how hard it is...but at the same time, they don't understand.

Exactly. He has now been slipping in, "I know you're tired, too." He would never be able to multitask. Moms have to multitask. I will have about 3-4 things going at once just to get things done while trying to wrangle children. And then he wonders why I am the last to go to bed. Hmm?

Lol thankfully my husband is pretty understanding of what I do. He always tells me that he has no idea of how I do it everyday and that it would drive him crazy. Normally he's good but this morning he was just grumpy. Lol
