How was your Thanksgiving dinner?

Ok, I should confess my dinner was... not as bad... But worse than I expected. My turkey was not as crispy, and salads were oversalted... This dinner was planned as a Parade of my cooking skills, but... Never mind, my husband and friends had eaten all to the last fork))
And then came Harry Potter, 1-2-3 parts - it was totally cool!!
How was your evening, girls?

)) my congrats with your "turkey debut")
I think of myself like I'm good in cooking - I love cooking, it's my hobby. I've shared my secret of crispy turkey before and yesterday... Well, I'm little bit disapointed of myself)

But I'm really glad to hear about your success, Stephanie!

Yea some days he works 15 hours a day sometimes 7 days a week. Their busy season hits a couple weeks before thanksgiving and last till after the first of the year. If he works to much I start to act all crazy and emotional lol. Its just cause I miss him so much.

It was all very good. Our own homegrown, fresh turkey, mashed potatoes, carrots, rutabaga, butternut squash, dressing, gravy, dinner rolls and pumpkin pie and cinnamon rolls. We had leftovers today and apple pie. I will make pumpkin caramel cookies this weekend from a recipe I found on Pinterest. My daughter just made the homemade caramel today for me.

We watched an episode of Green Acres (really old TV show about a lawyer turned farmer) last night and watched Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving since it was available for streaming today, not last night.
