My Garbage Pail Kid

Mommies, how do you stop your child from getting into the trash? My son has a fascination with the garbage and will not leave it alone. He even cries when I move the trash can away from him, which only works for a little while until he finds a way to maneuver his walker over there. I think I may need to make space in my kitchen for it, but even then he goes in there with me, at times. Why on Earth would he be so interested in trash. Ew.

Selena does try to do that too, I just redirect her, constantly.

I have to do the same. It's difficult when I am trying to clean or get tasks accomplished.

Yea, she tries to take things out of the trash by the computer and puts in weird places, lol, just paper or tissues but still it's annoying.

I finally stopped Tristen from eating stuff out of ours. Either that or he's gotten more sneaky about it. Lol I finally had to start putting him in his playpen for a few minutes everyone he did it. He eventually got the message. He still messes with it but not as often. And now if I tell him no he stops.

Jonah understands no, he just laughs when I tell him. Sometimes I will hear him say, "Ya." Maybe when he is a bit older he'll understand more.

Well, Tristen still laughs at me when I say no. But he doesn't laugh when I get a certain "Mommy" look on my face that let's him know I mean business. The only problem is that I seen myself make the face in the mirror and I know how silly it looks and now everytime I try to do it I start laughing. Lol
