Birth control or not...

I'm not starting a debate or argument here just curious on other families decisions. After Bentley was born I found myself looking into different types of birth control, I didn't want another baby right away. As I was reading I found that the side effects of some birth control options aren't worth what the birth control is good for. My husband and I looked into everything from condoms to mirena. We found that we didn't like any of these options so we as a couple decided the best control for us is no control. We choose to leave it up to God if and when we have another. What's your choice in bc do you like it? Have you ever looked into possible side effects of it?

I had never been on birth control before I had Tristen. After him we didn't think we wanted any more kids so I was on the mini pill for a year. It started making me have month long periods. So we researched and decided to go with the Mirena...I had it less than two months and my body rejected it and I got an infection from it went into shock and I had to have it removed. Plus my husband hated it, I could feel it in there, it was horrible for me. We decided to go with no birth control and take our chances. Less than a month later I was pregnant again. Lol since I have to have another c-section I am going to have my tubes tied...but if not we would still be going with no birth control. For me it just wasn't worth the side effects, they were awful for me.

Yeah some of the things they can do to you just aren't worth it. Depo can ruin your fertility forever.

They tried to talk me into that after they took out the IUD but I just couldn't do it. I know birth control works great for most people but I'm just one of the "lucky" few that has a hard time with it...not to mention it made me gain like 40 lbs that nothing would get rid of. I worked out everyday for months until I couldn't move and just got bigger and bigger.

I can't remember to take the pill at the same time everyday so it doesn't work for me

I heard birth control can cause miscarriages as well as the depo-shots. I choose not to use birth control. I would like to leave it up to God but my hubby insists on using condoms because he wants to make sure we can afford more children. His worrying is annoying. Lol I want more kids.

I have been on birth control pills (pretty much all the different strengths) and the patch. The last round that I was on the pill, I had my period for almost three months straight, they kept adjusting the estrogen in them. I finally got tired of dealing with it and just stopped taking it. We also found out most hormonal birth control methods are abortifacients (they cause early abortions if you don't know.

We aren't doing anything to prevent another pregnancy.

I like condoms...hormonal methods of birth control also bother me. And I think vasectomy is a great option if you are sure you're done.
