Made it to Nova Scotia!
We arrived at my mom's on Wednesday around supper time. I have limited internet access since my mom literally lives in the woods. :)
The drive here was a little hectic in Chicago and Montreal, which I expected but my oldest daughter was/is a good navigator.
We are planning to look at farms tomorrow. I am meeting with two of my old high school teachers today to talk to them about farming, since they are beef farmers. We plan to celebrate Canadian/US Thanksgiving as a whole family on Sunday.
We are even planning a beach trip since it is suppose to get up into the 50's in a couple of days.
Hope all of you in the Eastern states are safe and sound with all the snow you have received! Hubby keeps me updated and has asked me NOT to travel home to Chicago through the states. Here's to hoping the snow holds off up here in Canada. Monday was the only day we only hit any real snowy weather in Michigan on our way here, thankfully.
So nice to be home after nearly ten years of being away.
I plan to make a trip out to California next year...at least I am hoping. Cali will always be home.
