We Gained a Child....Temporally. ;)

My step-daughter went to stay with her mother for 5 days and nights since she is off of school for a week. I love her to pieces, but after her attitude this week and behavior, it is nice to have a break and not feeling like I want to cry and rip my hair out. Her mother wanted her that long though since they are visiting two different families for Thanksgiving.
(Please, do not take that the wrong way). My nephew Noah decided to come home with us after we visited him--him or his brother usually come over, anyway. He's a good boy and fun to have around and is a wonderful cousin to my kids. We treated him to McDonald's, his choice of restaurant, since he has been helping out with Jaina at school.
We have been playing videos game with him this evening. It was tricky in the beginning since I have not played video games in about 7 or 8 years--talk about feeling old! HAHA!! He still whooped our butts playing though.
So, this has been our weekend.

And, now, I am on the PC while my tot sleeps. Tomorrow we will be going to church. We missed last week and Wednesday due to sick kiddos and growth spurts, so it will be refreshing to go back. I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend. :)

I always gain a kid at my sister in laws lol. Her 13 year old is really attached to me.

Lol...It's good she has an aunt to look up to. I love my nieces and nephews, too.
That is the way these two are. They are 11 and 12 and are stuck to us.
When I lived in Cali, my nieces and nephews would always come over. We had up to 5 of them at once.

We love them so we let them stay.
