DIfferences You Experienced Between 1st and 2nd Child?

With my first I expected everything to go perfect. For me to be the perfect mommy and her to be the perfect baby. Although she was a perfect baby(didn't cry much and slept through the night at 3 weeks), I was very lucky. I wasn't a perfect mommy. I was very up tight and thought children should be raised a certain way. I was always telling my friends how they should do things(that was before I had mine). Well in between the 1st and 2nd I realized you'll definitely learn as you grow and what works for your family and kids. It also seemed like my 2nd grow up a lot faster. She was walking and talking earlier, by the time she was 2 she was talking in complete sentences like an adult and could hold a full on conversation with you.

It was the opposite for our first and second. Our first did everything first and fast. Our second was slower, but both are equally intelligent and gifted.

How interesting that you guys had almost opposite experiences! I definitely agree that I think most moms have to learn as they go, because you never know some things 'til you're there.

I'm a proud stay at home mom of 2 awesome daughters ages 3&4. And I have my 5 year old nephew every weekend. Just doing the best I can to raise some great kids with my great hubby :)
