Does anyone put baby food in pancakes?

I poured a banana baby food in Elise's pancake batter but the pancakes look raw inside.

Yes, but I've never had that problem. I've used mostly apples and pears. But my mom's done pretty much all the flavors. Just cook them a little longer and cut the center before you take it off.

I'd just cook them a minute or so longer. Did you use in place of the oil? That's what I do, but if used WITH the oil, it could be more moisture and take longer to cook.

I don't use oil for pancakes I make them in a little butter.

Hm ok. I use about 1/4 cup of coconut oil or purees per 2 cups of flour.

I dunno. That's the recipe that's been passed down in my family, it's the only one I've ever used.
            2 cups flour
            4 1/2 tsp baking powder
            1 tsp salt
            1 tablespoon sugar
            1 egg
1 1/2 cups milk or water
            1/4 cup oil or applesauce
            Makes about 10 pancakes.

I also use coconut milk instead of cow milk, you can also use breastmilk too.

I usually just use water, then I don't have to worry about how much the kids are eating. I attempted a snowman pancake the other day and Andrew recognized it lol.
