My son's bottom is so red :(
My poor little guy, lately he gets really red after poops. We've been using "Butt Paste" Since Desitin didn't work to well. Now it seems the paste isn't helping either :( Any suggestions?
keep the area dry and clean, let him go without a diaper each day if possible.Cornstarch reduces friction and can be used to prevent future diaper rashes after this one is healed. Studies showed that cornstarch does not encourage yeast infections. Avoid talcum powder because of the risk of pneumonia if your baby inhales it.
My son had that problem a few weeks a go. I just used Petroleum jelly and baby powder. And don't give your baby a lot of fruit or juice. Because it makes the rash come back.
