Strep throat?

On Friday my BF took our kids to my sister's house for my youngest nephew's birthday. I was at work at the time but stopped by after I got off. Turns out my oldest nephew had strep, but he wore a mask and didn't leave his room much, and my sister said she bleached everything, but now my seven month old has a fever (rectally was 100, maybe more. My thermometer takes forever so when it slowed down I took it out). How likely is it it's strep? So far, no one else is sick. I'm still gonna call his doctor just in case.

His lymph nodes don't look swollen, and the research I've done says he could just get a fever. He seems happy, but he won't let me look at his throat without him fussing, and one baby awake at 4 am is enough.

Yeah, he's 7 mo and is mostly BF. His fever was gone when I last checked, but he's extremely clingy.

I gave him ibuprofen, then 4 hours later gave him Tylenol. I did't know at the time, but when I gave him the Tylenol the fever was already gone.

He was kind of fussy at the breast, but took a bottle just fine. I took him in that day and his doctor said it's probably just a cold and/or teething (although, we didn't see or feel any signs of teeth). He had a fever for half the day yesterday, but today he's all better. Might have just been a small cold.

Still clingy, though. He's wonder weeking, so that isn't helping much.

Finally got a job. Jack in the Box. Not much, but it's something. I'm divorced but in a new, better relationship and he's my new son's father. I'm very happy to have him in my life (my ex is a free loader, currently living out of his car).
