Faint Line

A positive result is usually correct even if the line is faint. If the line is faint you may be very early on in the pregnancy, as time goes on more of the pregnancy hormone will get in your bloodstream and the line can become stronger. Make sure you read and follow the instructions on the test. False positives can happen, however rare. False negatives are more common.
