got my tooth out!

It went great didn't feel a thing. Thank you for the support in my previous post. I just want the bleeding to stop right now. Nurse said to change the gauze every 20 min. But I'm curious isn't that too little time?

Gargle with warm salt water to stop the bleeding faster.

They said not to because I can disturb the blood clot :(

Just do it gently don't do big swigs of it. It won't hurt the blood clotting much. I always do it after a couple hours of being home and wanting to eat.

After 24 hours, rinse with your mouth with a solution made of 1/2 teaspoon salt and 8 ounces of warm water.

also I tried to take the gauze off and when I swallow my checks gets suction in the extraction whole? I hope I didn't mess up the clot :(

I am glad that everything went well. Every twenty minutes to change the gauze is pretty normal. It is going to look like it is bleeding more just because the fluid from your mouth soaks the gauze and makes it look like more blood. If you disturb the clot, trust me you will know. As long as you follow their instructions though everything should be fine.

It just helps it stay clean. Don't suck through a straw until it heals. Sounds pretty normal from what I remember. Rest and keep changing that gauze until the bleeding stops.

Eat. Yogurt. Smooth ice cream. Nothing you have to chew a lot and something cold was always my favorite (I had 2 pulled at a time...twice).
