It can be normal. Sometimes you don't see the extent of any damage until one tooth is removed. I know it took me a while to eat normal.

I'm so freaked out! can't even sleep and now I brush my teeth and saw the right side upper molar has a black hole that smells funny. I hope this dentist didn't mess up all my teeth! by something he did. Can't wait for tomorrow to call them!

It sounds like another cavity...which takes time to develop. I don't think there is any way to have it do that so quickly. It's probably been like that and you didn't know it until the other tooth was removed. Sometimes even though it looks terrible they can just do a filling and save the tooth.

I Hope so I even cried I feel so depressed! I take care of my teeth and still they are all messed up. and I don't trust this dentist I have never gone to that clinic before and he doesn't even know English! You ask something and the nurse is the one that answers and barely knows anything. If you ask for another dentist staff say he is the only one available. I feel so depressed I don't even make enough milk for Elise.

that's not right, is it possible to find a different clinic? Ask your doctor for Peridex, an antibacterial mouth wash, it might help with healing process. Vitamin C supplement may also be helpful. It usually takes gum tissue about 3-4 weeks to heal. The bone can take up to 6 months to heal completely. However, pain should be lessening by the second day. But it varies from person to person, and also depends on how easy or difficult the tooth removal was.

Another clinic would charge me $300+ per app and they would have start from the beginning again from x-rays to consultations. I read mouth wash can dislodged the blood clot so I haven't done that even thought the dentist said it's ok she didn't sound too sure and I don't want to risk it. I did started the vitamin C today. 3 weeks just for the gum to heal sounds like such a long time! :( I feel horrible and barely making milk for Elise just eatingashes potatoes. I feel so stressed.
