Calsium drop for 2 month old Girl?
My babies helth is growing normally and matching to standered of waight and hight.
But her docter suggest to take calcium drops.
Is it really nessasary ?
Is it really safe?
If it is require why?
I have never heard of giving calcium to a 2 month old. I find it strange my pedi never asked us to give calcium just tri vitamins Because I breastfed. Calcium should be given from ages 1 to 3 years 700 mg per day and 4 to 8 years 1,000 MG per day if needed.
i don't think that's necessary if your baby is healthy and growing well. She is getting her calcium and vitamins via breast milk or formula.
If you're breastfeeding the docs try to force a tri-vitamin for baby but its not necessary, it's your choice.
